This is a thread that came to life to test the waters for how big of an interest out there to make one home game before christmas.
Since there aren't many tematic holidays until december that the whole world going to celebrate I was thinking about to embrace the Football World Cup in Brazil as our theme this time.
This would be a Football World Cup Welcome Bonanza and we would hold it in our home game club around early or mid-June with pochui's help again.
$1.10 BI and same or similar (suggestions welcome here) structure as the Easter one. Only this time the prizepool would contain only our own sponsor offerings and not BRM's (so they won't think we've got carried away).
This game would be purely for fun. If you liked the bad beats, the teasing, the bluffs which happened on the Easter game, then please vote: yes. I don't want to push anything, if aren't enough votes or they aren't positive this game never going to happen.

I love good ideas and this sounds a GREAT idea........ A World Cup themed BRM Home Game. We could have it that we must each show at the table (avatar/pic) the flag of our own or adopted country taking part in the world cup (just in case your own country hasn't been selected (sorry qualified) to play .)
It sounds a fabulous idea. All we need now is someone to arrange it. Bearing in ind the prize pool probably wonte as big cos BRM may not want to sponsor a further home game!

Thanks for the downvotes (bravo mobbits! top kek!) but the option of sending me to hell is already in the poll above. Please keep relying on that next time...

now who the fcuk would give bowie some downvotes? what sort of animal one must be to try to downgrade the mobbit who is trying to set up a home game for all the mobbits to enjoy? have you got no shame, have you got no latest balls shaving gadget (iShave 69).
hey i love the poll option: "shave a ballsack" me the shaving master is lured to the word starting with S... not Sh1t you morons... oh sorry mobbits
Hey, thanks. I'm not that naive to think everybody here cares about anything that involves me or a home game, but again downvoting a simple bump (which came into existence cuz this thread started to sink into obscurity) is rather pointless when you can say the same thing in the poll directly...
Again this is not a popularity contest nor my vanity project. If there isn't enough votes and posts to canvass this question thoroughly, the next home game going to happen around mid-december.

i like turtles. and i also like home games. i want another home games with my homies to happen before way before december!! How about, nov 29th?
no seriously now, im in
also, if possible we should make it like $0,5 ticket... im sure $1 isnt a big deal for most people here but its poker we are talking about and people go from 10's or 100's $ to 0 in no time, so more than anything id like to see it even more accessible (if you can even make homey games with lower entry fee? ). And im sure there are many people who would like to participate, but wont come here asking for someone to pay their ticket :o
dam, speaking of which we really need some sort of pm system :o
The entry fee is at a cost that would make the facebook password hunters to think twice to trash the game. Okay pochui could filter them out too as a 'capo di tutti capi' of the rigged place, but it's easier this way. If any forum regulars have problem entering, some of us will help them. But if we going to make this game (judging by the votes count - we can't, it's not even close to the entry number of the easter one), we could speak further about the BI if that is the interest of the mobbits here.
PM system - sometimes I miss it - then again, I'm glad that the only message I could get here is from BRM and it's usually positive. No need all that spamjunk and hatemail I could've get is PM was universal.

I have to agree with bowie1984 here, No pm system, thats all we need , getting 100 spam messages asking for money, It's bad enough that they do it in the forum, but to be able to pm members, no fkn way. cheers to all

well actually every single one "rigged place" member is also a member of brm... i done the cleaning once and from then on i accept only those who prove their identity in one way or another...

just for the interest- smallest bi is $0.10 (besides play money chips)

Well then we could make this a $0.10 tourey, if this going to happen (I mean the polls close on MAY 1st or 2nd if I'm here) - so we could make another thread about the structure and the time anyway.
Well, yeah - it's not going to happen. The easter game had around 2 dozen players and now we barely have half the amount of votes so I give this poll a run until May 1st midnight, but we definitely don't look good.
Probably some here have a problem with my attachment to the project and some won't be at home playing poker early at summer (as pochui guessed right at the easter game topic), so that could be another factor.

Don't feel too bad Bowie, it's a great idea just I think the tradition of recent years of Christmas and Easter has everyone hooked as well as a lovely contribution from BRM Admin which makes a big difference to the potential winnings has people's eyes clouded over what could be a great event.
